Residencies
Every year, the Miramar network organises residencies abroad for graduates of their schools.
Miramar is a Mediterranean network of academic, artistic and cultural players that aims to support the professional development of young artists and art workers, and to create exchange opportunities based on solidarity, reciprocity and hospitality.
Since 2021, the École(s) du Sud have been working to create a Mediterranean-wide cooperation scheme to offer their alumni and young artists from partner countries opportunities to meet, dialogue and collaborate on artistic projects. The network has identified partner structures in several countries with which residency programmes for network alumni have been set up. The project also includes a section aimed at hosting young artists from partner countries in structures in the Sud Provence Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. The network relies on the expertise of Dos Mares, an international art research centre based in Marseille, which is offering the winners two sessions of micro-residencies.
